हर साल की तरह इस बार भी बसंत पंचमी 2020 की पूजा की तैयारी जोर-शोर से चल रही है। खासतौर से बिहार, झारखंड और कोलकता में बसंत पंचमी यानी मां सरस्वती की पूजा अर्चना की तैयारी शुरू हो चुकी है। ओडिशा में भी मां सरस्वती की पूजा धूमधाम से की जाती है। हर साल यह पर्व, माघ महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष में आने वाली पंचमी तिथि को मनाया जाता है। इसे कई जगहों पर माघ पंचमी भी कहते हैं। कई लोग इसे श्री पंचमी तो कई सरस्वती पंचमी के नाम से भी पुकारते हैं। यह बसंत ऋतु के पांचवें दिन मनाया जाने वाला त्योहार है इसलिए भी इसे पंचमी पूजा कहा जाता है।

इस साल यह पर्व 29 जनवरी को मनाया जा रहा है। इस पर्व को मुख्य रूप से बसंत यानि नई फसलों पर फूल आने का दिन माना जाता है।

बसंत पंचमी का महत्व नई फसल के आने के कारण तो होता ही है, साथ ही माना गया है कि इस दिन ही देवी सरस्वती का जन्म हुआ था। यही नहीं, यह भी माना गया है कि यह दिन ज्ञान की देवी को समर्पित है। लोग इस दिन नए और पीले कपड़े पहनना पसंद करते हैं और सभी छात्र मुख्य रूप से देवी सरस्वती की पूजा-आराधना करते हैं। 

वसंत पंचमी में पीले रंग को महत्व देने के पीछे एक बड़ा कारण यह भी है कि बसंत के मौसम में ही पीली सरसों के खेत लहलहाने लगते हैं, जैसे मानो वह इस मौसम का स्वागत करते हों। इस मौसम में ही सारे किसान बसंत के आगमन के लिए मेहनत करते हैं और दिल से इस मौसम का स्वागत करते हैं।

सरस्वती पूजा माघ माहिने के पांचवें दिन की जाती है। 2020 में सरस्वती पूजा 29 जनवरी को मानायी जायेगी। सरस्वती मां की पूजा विद्या और ज्ञान की प्राप्ती के लिए की जाती है। सरस्वती पूजा को भारत के अलावा नेपाल और बांगला देश में भी बड़ी उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। इसके अलावा इस दिन को किसी भी नये कार्य को आरंभ करने का शुभ मुहूर्त माना जाता है।

बसंत पंचमी और सरस्वती पूजा को लेकर यूं तो कई पौराणिक कथाएं प्रचलिच हैं लेकिन एक मुख्य कथा यह है कि सृष्टि के रचयिता भगवान ब्रह्मा ने जब संसार की रचना की तो उन्हें महसूस हुआ कि संसार में अत्यधिक शांति है, विष्णु की आज्ञा पर ही ब्रह्मा जी ने सृष्टि की रचना की थी। फिर विष्णु जी की ही आज्ञा पर ब्रह्मा ने अपने कमंडल से जल लेकर पृथ्वी पर छिड़का, जिससे पृथ्वी में कंपन उत्पन्न हुआ। इसके पश्चात एक अद्भुत शक्ति भी प्रकट हुई। वह और कोई नहीं, बल्कि चतुर्भज देवी वीणा देवी थीं, जिनके एक हाथ में वीणा और दूसरे हाथ में वर मुद्रा थी और बाकी दोनों हाथों में उन्होंने पुस्तक और माला पकड़ रखी थी। ब्रह्मा ने उस देवी से वीणा बजाने को कहा, ताकि धरती पर फैला सन्नाटा मिट जाए और जैसे ही देवी ने वीणा बजाई, संसार के समस्त जीव-जंतुओं की वाणी से मधुर ध्वनि आई। शब्द के माधुर्य और रस से युक्त होने के कारण इनका नाम सरस्वती पड़ा। उसी समय ब्रह्मा ने देवी का नाम सरस्वती रख दिया और उन्हें संगीत और शिक्षा की देवी घोषित कर दिया। 
उस वक़्त से संगीत से जुड़े सभी लोग देवी सरस्वती की आराधना करते हैं और सभी छात्र मां की पूजा करते हैं, ताकि वह अपने-अपने काम में पारंगत हासिल कर पाएं। ब्रह्मा ने बसंत पंचमी के दिन ही मां को अस्तित्व दिया था इसलिए बसंत पंचमी के दिन को मां सरस्वती पूजा के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा।
ऋग्वेद में मां सरस्वती का वर्णन करते हुए कहा गया है कि सरस्वती के रूप में यह हमारी बुद्धि, प्रज्ञा और मनोवृत्तियों की संरक्षक हैं। इनकी समृद्धि और स्वरूप का वैभव अद्भुत है। मां सरस्वती का शस्त्र उनकी बुद्धि और वीणा ही है। वह अपनी बुद्धि से ही लोगों को पराजित करती हैं इसलिए जो भी व्यक्ति बुद्धि से, बिना किसी शस्त्र का इस्तेमाल किए, अपने दुश्मनों को हराता है, यही कहा जाता है कि उसपर देवी सरस्वती साक्षात विराजमान हैं। एक यह भी कहावत प्रचलित है कि कभी भी किसी के लिए बुरा नहीं सोचना चाहिए, क्योंकि दिन में एक बार आपकी जुबान पर सरस्वती विराजमान होती हैं और वह यह बातें सुनती हैं।   
 

मां सरस्वती की पूजा को लेकर एक कथा और भी बहुत ज्यादा प्रचलित है, जिसमें कहा गया कि सबसे पहले भगवान कृष्ण ने देवी सरस्वती की पूजा की थी। देवी सरस्वती ने कृष्ण को देखा तो उनके रूप में मोहित हो गई थीं और उन्हें पति बनाने की इच्छा करने लगी थीं। इस बारे में जब कृष्ण को पता चला तो उन्होंने सरस्वती को बताया कि वह राधे के प्रति समर्पित हैं लेकिन सरस्वती को भी वह निराश नहीं करना चाहते थे। इसलिए कृष्ण ने देवी सरस्वती से कहा कि वह विद्या की देवी बनेंगी और माघ मास की शुक्ल पंचमी को उनकी पूजा की जाएगी और खुद श्री कृष्ण ने सबसे पहले देवी सरस्वती की पूजा की थी।

एक कथा यह भी प्रचलित है कि कुंभकरण ने 10000 वर्षों तक जब घोर तपस्या की थी, तब ब्रह्मा उन्हें वर देने को तैयार हो गए थे, उस वक्त देवों ने उनसे निवेदन किया कि वह वर तो दे रहे हैं, लेकिन कुंभकरण चूंकि असुर है, वह अपनी शक्ति का दुरुपयोग कर सकता है। तब ब्रह्मा ने सरस्वती का स्मरण किया और सरस्वती राक्षस की जीभ पर सवार हो गई थीं। सरस्वती के प्रभाव से कुंभकरण ने ब्रह्मा से कहा मैं कई वर्षों तक सोता रहूं, यहीं मेरी इच्छा है। इस तरह कुंभकरण सोता रहा और अपनी ही शक्ति को बर्बाद कर दिया। 


सरस्वती के बारे में ऐसा भी कहा जाता है कि जिनके पास माता सरस्वती का वरदान है, वह आसानी से लक्ष्मी कमा सकते हैं, लेकिन यह जरूरी नहीं कि जिनके पास लक्ष्मी हो उनके पास सरस्वती भी वास करें,  इसलिए सरस्वती को लक्ष्मी से ज्यादा महत्व दिया गया है। माता सरस्वती बुद्धि की देवी है और बुद्धि से ही पैसे कमाए जा सकते हैं।

मां सरस्वती की पूजा और जश्न

बसंत पंचमी या सरस्वती पूजा में मुख्य रूप से छात्र भाग लेते हैं। बिहार, झारखंड,ओडिशा और बंगाल में लोग पंडालों में देवी सरस्वती की पूजा-आराधना करते हैं। देवी सरस्वती की मूर्ति स्थापित की जाती है। साथ ही उनकी पूजा की जाती है। लोग नए कपड़े, खासतौर से पीले रंग के कपड़े  पहनते हैं। 

सरस्वती पूजा विधि - Puja Vidhi

सरस्वती पूजा करते समय सबसे पहले यह जरूरी है कि सरस्वती माता की प्रतिमा या उनकी तस्वीर को सामने रख लिया जाए। इसके बाद एक कलश स्थापित किया जाता है। साथ ही गणेश जी की पूजा की जाती है। इसके बाद ही माता सरस्वती की पूजा की शुरुआत की जाती है। सबसे पहले उन्हें स्नान कराया जाता है, उसके बाद माता सरस्वती को फूल माला चढ़ाया जाता है। साथ ही श्रृंगार की वस्तुएं भी चढ़ाई जाती हैं। बसंत पंचमी के दिन सरस्वती माता के चरणों पर गुलाल जरूर अर्पित करना चाहिए। ध्यान रखें कि गुलाल अगर गुलाबी रंग का हो तो सबसे अच्छा है। इस बात का भी ध्यान रखना जरूरी है कि सरस्वती हमेशा श्वेत वस्त्र धारण करती हैं इसलिए उन्हें श्वेत वस्त्र ही पहनाना चाहिए लेकिन खुद पीले वस्त्र पहनकर पूजा करें, तो अच्छा है। सरस्वती पूजन के अवसर पर माता को पीले रंग का फूल चढ़ाना अति शुभ माना जाता है। साथ ही उन्हें मौसमी फलों के अलावा बूंदी अर्पित करनी चाहिए। बिहार, झारखंड में बेर चढ़ाने की परंपरा है। इसके अलावा माता को मालपुए और खीर का भोग भी लगाया जा सकता है।

मां सरस्वती की पूजा घरों के साथ-साथ सामूहिक पंडालों में भी होती है, जिसमें छात्र और छात्राएं मिलकर मां सरस्वती की आराधना करते हैं। एक दिन के लिए उन्हें किताबेॆ अर्पित करते हैं और पढ़ाई को विराम देते हैं।
हिन्दू धर्म के अनुसार सरस्वती पूजा करने के बाद सरस्वती माता के नाम से हवन ज़रूर करना चाहिए। हवन के लिए हवन कुंड में माता सरस्वती के नाम से हवन करें। इसके साथ ही अगर नवग्रह हवन भी हो तो अच्छा है। कोशिश करें कि ‘ओम श्री सरस्वती नमः स्वाहा’ इस मंत्र से 108 बार हवन करें। इसके बाद माता की आरती करें। बाद में दूसरे दिन यानी की षष्ठी तिथि को सुबह माता सरस्वती की पूजा करने के शाम में मूर्ति को प्रणाम करके, उन्हें जल में प्रवाहित कर देना चाहिए।

बता दें कि ओडिसा और बिहार में बेर और संगारी फल मुख्य रूप से देवी सरस्वती को चढ़ाये जाते हैं । दोनों ही फल देवी के प्रिय माने जाते हैं। इन फलों के अलावा सभी अपने सामर्थ्य के अनुसार देवी सरस्वती की आराधना करते हैं। बिहार, झारखंड और बंगाल के लोग देवी सरस्वती की मूर्ति के कुछ बाल चुन कर अपनी किताबों में भी प्रसाद के रूप में रखते हैं। वह देवी के बालों को शुभ मानते हैं। 

कई महिलाएं एक-दूसरे को पीली साड़ी भी गिफ्ट करती हैं, तो कई महिलाएं इस दिन मां सरस्वती को पीली साड़ी चढ़ा कर, उसे प्रसाद के रूप में अपने शरीर पर धारण करती हैं। 

इन दिनों कई शहरों में सरस्वती पूजा हर गली-मोहल्ले में मनाई जाने लगी है। और बिहार झारखंड के कई शहरों में सरस्वती पूजा में महिलाएं यहां तक कि बच्चियां भी साड़ी पहनकर, सरस्वती माता के दर्शन करने के लिए हर पंडाल में घूमती हैं, यह वक्त एक दूसरे से मिलने का भी होता है। कई जगहों पर सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी रखे जाते हैं। बंगाल में अभी भी सरस्वती पूजन में कई तरह के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, खासतौर से संगीत पर आधारित कई प्रतियोगिताएं रखी जाती हैं।

बसंत पंचमी में पकने वाले पकवान - Dishes for Vasant Panchmi

बसंत पंचमी के दिन मीठे पकवान घर-घर में जरूर बनते हैं। खासतौर से खीर और मालपुए मां को जरूर चढ़ाए जाते हैं। खीर, चावल या फिर पनीर की भी बनाई जाती है। वहीं दूसरी तरफ जो मालपुए हैं वह आटे में चीनी और सारे मावा को मिलाकर बनाए जाती है। इस दिन संदेश मिठाई भी बनती है तो कई लोग मां को पीला पेड़ा भी चढ़ाते हैं। यहीं नहीं कई लोग केसरिया हलवा भी मां को अर्पित करते हैं, क्योंकि इस दिन विशेष रूप से मां को पीला भोजन चढ़ाया जाता है। कई जगह पीली खिचड़ी भी चढ़ाई जाती है। तो बिहार झारखंड में पीला बुंदिया जोकि बेसन और चीनी से बनता है, उसे चढ़ाने का रिवाज है। इस दिन घर में मांसाहार भोजन बिल्कुल नहीं बनता है। खास बात यह भी है कि बसंत पंचमी में बनने वाले जो भी लोकप्रिय पकवान हैं, उन्हें बनने में अधिक समय नहीं लगता है। सारे पकवान खासतौर से चीनी और मावे के बनते हैं, इसलिए जरूरी है कि एक दिन पहले ही इसे बनाने की सारी सामग्री तैयार कर ली जाए।

मां सरस्वती के भक्त यूं तो उनकी पूजा आराधना हमेशा ही करते रहते हैं। लेकिन सरस्वती के पूजन के दिन मुख्य रूप से निराला की लिखी सरस्वती वंदना जरूर गाई जाती है, जो कि इस प्रकार है।
